About Kunyit

Batik Kunyit inspired by the Turmeric flowering plant used in most Traditional Malaysian Cooking. It's long leaf blades are thin, elliptic to oblong-lanceolate, and during the flowering season, tiny, bright blossoms appear on the plant's lengthy stems, adorned with long, green, lance-shaped leaves.

Great for medicinal purposes and cooking, we specifically chose the Turmeric plant because of it's flower that is used as a part of our Terengganu cooking. Cut into thin slices as salads or as a side-dish, we truly value our culture and made it a part of our Penawar 2023 Collection
